Department of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was established in January 2013 to test personal protective equipment suspected as a result of the inspections of the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety and the Market Surveillance and Inspection Department and strengthen the national system for personal protective equipment.
In 2017, 1040 and in 2018, 1644 pairs of protective gloves were tested by experts in ISGUM PPE testing laboratory. The reports about the samples were recorded in the ISGUM database.
The tests carried out on the samples in the ISGUM PPE Laboratory contribute to the creation of a healthier and safer working environment for the employees and the establishment of a market with safe products with equal competitive conditions.
In our laboratory, protective protective gloves tests, as well as clothing, eye protection, foot protector, head protector and anti-fall protectors are tested.
