Each year the World Accreditation Day is celebrated in different themes with the aim of increasing accreditation and quality awareness and reaching wider accreditation. This year's theme was a healthy and secure world of accreditation.
Mr. Ahmet YÜCEL Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of the European Union and Chairman of TÜRKAK, Uğur ÖZTÜRK Vice President of our Institute, Senior executives of TURKAK, Representative of TÜRKLAB and EUROLAB, Representative of Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) and representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications participated the symposium which took place in Ankara.
Mr. Uğur ÖZTÜRK stated that various parameters were measured and assessed at various stages of work on health and safety and he clarified that accreditation is important for the accuracy of these measurements and evaluations. He also emphsized that accreditation is the technical integrity of occupational health and safety and irreplaceable for correct results in occupational hygiene measurement tests and analysis and PPE conformity tests.
The event concluded with the hope that more advanced studies would be carried out to create a safer and safer world.
