Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) member countries from our country studying undergraduate, graduate and Islamic Countries Statistics for PhD students, the Economic and Social Research and Training Center (SESRTCIC), Turkey Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Foreign Turks and relatives Communities The certificate ceremony for the first trainees of the Islamic Initiative International Internship Program (OIC INTERN) was held in Istanbul.
As the Presidency of Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute (İSGÜM), Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, we supported this program by providing internship opportunities for the students who have master's degree in Syria, Sudan, Yemen and Palestine.
They did intership one week (02.07.2018 - 17.08.2018) for about 2 months at İSGÜM and General Directorates.
During this period, they received information on almost all the topics of OHS from occupation to sampling and occupational diseases.
Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Ansar Foundation General Assembly Member Bilal Erdoğan, deputy ministers, public and private many organizations representative of Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk and many students attended to the event.
On behalf of SESRIC, YTB, TOBB, Ensar Foundation and public institutions, SESRIC Director Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya made the opening speech. Kulaklıkaya said “internship program will provide important contributions to the organization's objectives in the "2025 Action Plan" and in achieving the sustainable development goals of the member countries” in his speech.
He thanked the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services for their contributions to the OIC Intern program for their contributions to the Presidency of the Institute for Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development (İSGÜM).
Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank said "OHS needs to contribute to the Islamic countries" in his speech.
Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute (İSGÜM) President Erol TEKCE and OHS Expert Nihat EMİROĞLU participated in the program.
At the end of the program, trainee students were presented their certificates with the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and the Ensar Foundation General Assembly Member Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan.
Erol TEKÇE, President of Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute (İSGÜM) received the certificate of thanks from Bilal Erdoğan, General Assembly Member of Ensar Foundation.
The event ended with the "family photo" of the participants.
